TOEFL ITP®: Pre-Experience Students Only

Join us to take the TOEFL ITP® on campus!

Did you know…

The LRC offers you the opportunity to take the TOEFL ITP® exam in our Authorised Test Center on campus.

Who can take this exam at HEC Paris LRC?

You need to:

  • Be a student in a pre-experience program in HEC Paris.
  • Be able to provide a valid ID with photo & your student card on the exam day.

Important:

  • If you have a waiver*, you do not need to take this exam.
  • Your first take of TOEFL ITP® during your first year in HEC Paris is free of charge and you do not need to sign up via LRC website as your name will be transferred directly from your Academic Affairs office to us. To sum up, you do not need to do anything until we inform you to come for your test!
  • You will need to sign up and pay a fee of €50 for every TOEFL ITP® retake (from second time on).
  • Your TOEFL ITP® result will be available in your Student Portal around 1 month after your exam date, and you will be able to collect your certificate at your Academic Affairs office.

*Waiver:

A waiver can be requested if you have proven English language proficiency (certified by one of the following, completed no more than 2 years before enrolling in HEC on August 28th):

  • TOEFL iBT: minimum 100 out of 120
  • Cambridge: CAE B | BEC above B | CPE C
  • IELTS: minimum 7 out of 9
  • If you have completed a Bachelor’s in: Australia, Canada, Hong-Kong, India, Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, the United Kingdom, the USA
What about people who studied their Bachelor’s degree fully in English in a country not listed above?

If you did not study in one of the indicated countries, even if you did your Bachelor’s fully in English, you can not apply for a waiver for the English language test.

If I already have the TOEIC® do I still have to take the TOEFL®?

Yes, the TOEIC® is not accepted as a justification for obtaining a waiver.
