Why take the TOEIC® test?
Whether it is within your application process to one of the Executive Education programs, or through your personnel’s training plan as an HEC Paris staff member, we offer you the opportunity to take the TOEIC® Listening and Reading test in one of our two authorized test centers.
Each session is administrated by ETS Global, official organization for the TOEIC® test.
For all the registered test takers (under conditions you can see below), a score statement will be addressed to you 15 days maximum after the test session.
This document certifies your level (according to the C.E.F.R. grid) and is valid for a 2-year period after the exam date.
Taking the TOEIC® Listening and Reading test, in which conditions?
Executive Education applicants,
to participate in the next real test session, you must:

provide a valid official ID document
-
not have taken a real TOEIC® test within the past 24 months with a higher score than the minimum required (750/990 for the EMS and 850/990 for the EMBA)
Important! Practice test sessions are available but not mandatory to participate in a real test session. Any registration that has been confirmed by an official convocation cannot be cancelled or delayed.
Staff members,
to participate in the next real test session, you must:

provide a valid official ID document
-
not have taken a real TOEIC® test by our intermediary within the past 24 months
-
receive a score of at least 650 out of 990 on one of the mock test sessions for TOEIC® within three months before the actual test

* the actual real test sessions last three hours including one hour of presentation and administrative formalities.

During the exam session, phones and electronic devices must be switched off and tidied, food and drinks are forbidden and draft papers are not allowed.
HB type pencils only with eraser are accepted. Note that exiting the session is final.
